| Tiivistelmä: | Three different ways are applied to transmit information: cable, short-wave (HF) radio and communication satellites. Recently HF radio has been neglected but the limits of communication satellites have been realized and attention turned to HF radio again. Developments aim at improving transmission quality. Its favourable feature is the relative cheapness of the equipment. |
