| Tiivistelmä: | Over the past fifteen years, a substantial body of research findings has been steadily published in almost all of the developed countries, which in general has supported the view that small firms play a very significant role in the creation of new employment. Not surprisingly, given the high levels of unemployment in most countries, these findings have had some influence upon political and economic strategy aimed at employment creation and economic development. |
