| Tiivistelmä: | In 1995, Anhui province's retail volume of social consumption goods reached 60 billion yuan, an increase of 1.6 times over 1990 with average annual growth rate of 21%. The volume of business of the whole province's various types of markets amounted to 50 billion yuan, an increase of 1.7 times over 1990 with average annual growth rate of 22%. The sales volume of the system of commercial department of Anhui province totaled 15.38 billion yuan, an increase of over 1 time with average annual growth rate of 15%, leaping to 11th position from 13th in 1990. During the Eighth Five-Year Plan period, the province turned over 1.69 billion yuan in taxes and profits. The department stores with sales volume of over 50 million yuan have increased from only one in 1990 to 30 in 1995. |
