| Tiivistelmä: | After a considerable decrease of the expansion in the first phase of the world-wide economic downturn, the demand and production in France grew again. GDP was 2.5 p.c. higher in the first quarter of 1992 than one year before. However, despite the economic growth unemployment rate increased and it is now 10 p.c. Private consumption contributed to the expansion of the total demand: it increased by 2,5 p.c. yearly. All in all, GDP is to be excepted to grow by 2 p.c. in 1992, and an even stronger growth is to be excepted for 1993. However,unemployment will rise too. |
