| Tiivistelmä: | Like in the other industrial countries the the economic growth is very modest in France since the summer of 1990. Demand and production; however, grew at faster pace in other Western European countries due mainly to the expansion of export. GDP was 2,5 was higher in the first half of 1992 than one year before, the decrease of the utilization of capacities was not considerable. Unemployment rose slighly, it is now 10 p.c, and inflation was also more modest than in most of the industrial economies. Expectations for 1992 are as follows: GDP growth: 2 p.c., price increase: 2-3 p.c. |
