Tiivistelmä:An experimental study revealed the role of advertisements by media as to the ideal body image. Ads may directly cause increase in anorexia nervosa and bulimia. Having finished the experiment authors concluded that even a short viewing (30 min) of TV advertising can alter the women's perception about their body shape.
