| Tiivistelmä: | The year 1991 was a watershed year for sexual harassment. The Anita Hill-Clarence Thomas hearings, the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1991, and the expansive interpretation of sexual harassment by some courts have greatly shifted the odd against continued pervasive occurrence of sexual harassment in the workplace. Efforts to eliminate sexual harassment are compounded by the misunderstanding regarding what is - and is not - prohibited behaviour. Many factors contribute to this misunderstanding. |
