| Tiivistelmä: | Empirical analysis is of partial nature.It is focused on the explanation of economic situation in electricity supply sector by the use of price distortions. This analysis is applied in the context of the growth of output value of this sector as compared to other industrial sectors.The analysis showed that a slower than average growth in electricity supply sector prices is the key factor that generates the enormous "losses" which have at the end of monitored period accounted for as much as 18 times the value of Jannuary output from 1991.These are, of course, only hypothetical losses, and could be considered losses only on condition that the dynamics of prices would be the same in electricity supply sector as in other industry sectors.However, this could only be one of the explanations for a chronic lack of accumulation in the electricity supply sector. |
