| Tiivistelmä: | Facing knowledge economy, China as a developing country should try to find strategically a breakthrough and strive for "the latecomes surpassing the old-timers". To this end, we should not copy indiscriminately the experience of the advanced countries. Instead, we should plan and make a strategic decision scientifically with regard to the way of being shifted into or incorporated into knowledge economy. For instance, we may transform the traditional industries with high sci-tech in a bid to enhance the international competitive power of pillar industries and the major manufacturing industry. Besides, we should encourage sci-tech progress and establish a sci-tech innovation system to make significant and valuable innovations repaid by society. |
