| Tiivistelmä: | The knowledge economy times are coming. There are two things which need to be clarified. One is that we can not follow the beaten track of the advanced countries for we have to embark on both industrization road and informanization road at the same time. Two is that we should select a correct way of being shifted into knowledge economy. Because of the special national situation, the state needs to make overall arrangement and rational plan. The right datum point is the key to the strategy of rejurenating the country by developing science and education. First, we should accelerate sci-tech progress in the major industrial fields such as agriculture, basic industries, manufacturing industry and the tertiary industry, second, we should strengthen basic and high-tech research and attach importance to human capital and quality of labourers as well |
