| Tiivistelmä: | Different from agricultural and industrial economies, knowledge economy is characterized by the following: Computers and knowledge are the indispensable labour resources. Productive force refers to the capability of producing, using and distributing knowledge and information and it is a force with a reservoir of latent energy in human resource development. Mental labour and intelligence dominate over the social main force. Knowledge contained in products becomes more and more while materials less and less. The base of knowledge economy is knowledge and information and human capital too. Its activity field is mainly service field. People work on their own initiative. Knowledge economy is infiltrated into labour force, resource and technological economies. |
