| Tiivistelmä: | This paper deals with the operating performance and characteristics of leveraged buyouts (LBO) in Europe. The results indicate a significant relationship to exist btw. the operating characteristics of a company and the likelihood of LBO. Although not conclusive, this paper's evidence justifies support for the presented underperformance hypothesis. |
