| Tiivistelmä: | Training is a solution designed to resolve a performance discrepancy, a noted and measurable difference between actual and desired performance. Pertinent information is gathered and alternative solutions are generated and tested. A specific solution (not necessarily training) is chosen and implemented, the results are evaluated against the original problem statement and the entire process begins again. The manager charged with selecting and evaluating trainers must decide to what extent the trainer will be involved in this process. |
