Tiivistelmä:Whether formal or informal, employee evaluation is a fact of organizational life. The performance appraisal process works best when it is handled in the context of ongoing performance management, in which objectives are set in advance and performance coaching occurs throughout the year. The benefits of performance appraisals are realized by three distinct groups, each having different needs and interests. Performance appraisal systems can tie individual job performance to organizational strategy and goals effectively.
