Tiivistelmä: | If employees can see that they are missing their targets, they can make corrective adjustments as they work without the need for close managerial supervision. Therefore subordinates declare that they want to know how well they are doing in their work, and feel that they are entitled to a periodic review. In some businesses, where things run in a very stable fashion with few changes during the year, an annual performance review is appropriate. There are other situations, however, where quarterly reviews would be most advisable. Seven cases are enlisted when quarterly reviews should be applied and their pitfalls are also pointed out. |
