Tiivistelmä:A reference-framework for a performance-related remuneration system is developed. An up-to-date model is described and two application examples are presented. Hitherto systems of this kind usually promoted the short-term exploitation of existing success factors and thereby handicapped the building long-term success potentials up. This should be recognized as an alarm signal for a company to reconsider its remuneration system. The modular structure of the model is sketched. Several performance criteria are mentioned. It is shown how incentives within this system work. The most important results of the case examples are summarized.
