| Tiivistelmä: | To be at the forefront of payments technology, Visa and MasterCard have recently launched several initiatives that will generate interest in online rewards points, wireless payment methods, and revive interest in the SET (Secure Electronic Transaction) protocol. Visa recently launched one of Europe's first chip-based internet commerce security products, Cyber-Comm. The product is essentially a card reader plug-in that supports both the SET protocol for e-commerce and the EMV standard that fosters global interoperability for chip cards. |
