Tiivistelmä:Current debate in the area of human resource management is focusing on explanatory links between certain HRM practices and organisational performance , asking such questions as: what are the key HR activites that increase organisational performance? Jean-Marie Hiltrop of InterCultural Consulting, Geneva, presents a framework to analyse the wide range of HR practices found in organisations, which assists in answering such questions. He suggests ten factors or 'dimensions' which underlie the different approaches to HRM found in organisations. These can be used as a checklist for evaluating the effectiveness of HR practices and of those who implement them.
