| Tiivistelmä: | Using the widely discussed issue of human resource (HR) specialists handing over HR tasks to line management as an example, this article analyzes whether European companies (hereafter as: E-comps.) in the last decade have adopted similar HR practices (here as: HR-prcs.) and whether successful E-comps. are similar to each other in this respect. The results show that there is no trend towards convergence in Europe. In addition, various configurations of HR-prcs. characterize successful organizations. Both results have important consequences for HR academics and practitioners. |
