| Tiivistelmä: | New technologies have shaken up companies and profoundly changed production systems and mentalities in the industrial sector. But whereas structural change has been considerable, management and control theory evolved very little. It has thus been necessary to rethink the theories and bring them up to the level of technological innovation. Profound changes in control theory are absolutely inevitable since no jump in technology can be made without the reorganization and modernization of control systems corresponding to the three main tendencies of modern production - automation, flexibility and integration. |
