| Tiivistelmä: | How can the CIM manager attain the long-term CIM goals and, at the same time, prove the rapid benefits. Arguments are provided that the first tasks is to introduce the separate CIM components (CAD, PPS, CAM). Later on, when he tries to connect these systems in order to get a more complex system capable to produce a lot of new outputs , he should subdivide his project into vertical operational chains. It is shown that the most effective way of systems development would be if for every type of throughput a small part project was formed. |
