The need to attract capital to fund growth is basic to all banking activities. Automation has enabled bankers to achieve this in several ways, as providing improved customer services, offering new products. Such is commercial or firm banking: businesses use a personal workstation which is on-line to the banks computer, in order to manage the daily flow of funds. |
