| Tiivistelmä: | The author conducted a survey of 60 firms in five European countries on the subject of managing high- potentials in Europe. He asked the firms to define high- potential employees, how they were found and selected, how they were developed, what problems the firms confronted in their management and wether there were country-by-country differentials. If managing high achievers is not problem-free throughout the geographic span, there were found to be some variations in the countries due to cultural factors. |
