Tiivistelmä:Errors of selection and transfers inevitably have an impact on a company's productivity. Yet personnel assessment is not always treated in France with the same rigour and objectivity as other important factors bearing on efficiency of organizations. These claims are supported by outlining the most important recent developments in personnel evaluation. Based on four examples of theoretic and methodological advances, their practical consequences for evaluation techniques and their application are shown. Among the methods of personality tests the situation test is one of the most significant in which the candidate is made to perform a "sample task".
