| Tiivistelmä: | The loss of employment brings about undesirable consequences for both the individual involved and the company. Outplacement offers the personnel manager an instrument with which he can deal with the problem. The authors examine this concept and describe the relationship between outplacement and other available instruments. First they focus on the origins, the development and the various phases of the outplacement process. They consider the objectives for both the enterprise and the employees affected and identify the internal and external elements responsible for the implementation of outplacement measures. |
