| Tiivistelmä: | A new star has arisen in the German market of rent a car: Erich Sixt wants to overcome in the near future Europcar, the present leader. The effort of the giant, which set prices very low in comparison with its competitors, has made the German rent a car market more competitive. As a result, the quality of services has improved, prices have been reduced. In opposition to its concurrence, Sixt AG does not depend on any of the large automobile makers, so it can decide the composition of its vehicle fleet freely. The weapon which the firm has created at its start is effective still today: price aggressive offer of Mercedes vehicles. |
