| Tiivistelmä: | A crucial ingredient of decision making today is knowledge of one's competitors and the competitive market environment. Such information can be gathered through both internal and external sources; management must determine the most appropriate approaches and then monitor the data continuously. A few kinds of approaches and information sources are briefly reviewed. Some references are mentioned. Several misconceptions about competitive market intelligence systems are identified. An outline of competitor profile and information sources is presented in Appendix. |
