| Tiivistelmä: | The problems of the German economy shake the world of the theatres too. While in the past deficits of the theaters were covered by public budgets generously, the recent state of these budgets makes this impossible today. Theaters, that are not used to it, have to live on their own. German theaters have got in the deepest crisis of their history. It is out of question, that the management and financing of German theaters must be based on wholly new fundations. Several initiatives show possible ways out of the crisis. |
