Tiivistelmä:The article presents a short survey of the French media industry. Stress is laid on ownership relations. Tables attached to the article list 1/ the largest media firms with capital, turnover, number of employees, activities, subsidiaries, products and proprietors (with shares of ownership) and 2/ the highest circulation weeklies with number of copies, publisher, name of founder, year of foundation.
