| Tiivistelmä: | Process planning is a very complex and involved task. It is generally divided into two steps of planning: routeing planning and operation planning. Routeing planning is concerned with the determination of major processes and their sequence to machine a part to meet its specifications. Operation planning focuses on the detailed planning of machining steps and required tooling. The study presented in this paper falls into the latter category. |
