| Tiivistelmä: | Quality management is a trick the West has been unable to copy from Japan. This headline comes from a recent article in the London Economist. The article goes on to say, that a new survey of 500 American manufacturing and service companies found that only a third believed their total quality programs were having a significant impact on their competitiveness. But less than a year ago, it was all supposed to be so easy. Now TQM, the bright new hope is showing its difficult side. Success is not instantaneous, and failures are showing up. |
