Tiivistelmä: | Often described as belonging to a profession, consultants obviously possess many of the features around which the concepts of "profession" and "professionalism" have been traditionally idealised: the possession of a store of specialised and taxing knowledge, the primacy of client's interests and a high level of skill and judgment in carrying out activities. In many European countries, and the USA, consultants are more regulated than in the U.K., either statutorily or through more developed professional associations. |
