| Tiivistelmä: | Recently, Elmes and Costello (1992) delivered a critique of a communication skills workshop. Their conclusions were fairly negative and raised a number of issues pertaining to the process of training in communication. However, some aspects of CST were not raised while others were only partially explored by them, and in the interest of balance it is important to examine these facets of the training process in more depth. This paper therefore considers CST in the light of their criticisms and presents an overall rationale for their approach to human relations training. |
