| Tiivistelmä: | Tolerance charting is a graphical technique of presenting a sequence of machining operations on a workpiece. With the use of a tolerance chart, a particular set of manufacturing sequence , dimensions and tolerances can be evaluated to determine if the blueprint requirements are violated. The authors present a simplified approach of deriving the working dimensions between surfaces of a workpiece during tolerance charting. The dimensional chains are first formulated into a matrix and it is then solved by applying the &dJa matrix and it is then sol Gauss elimination technique. An example is used to illustrate the method. |
