Tiivistelmä: | All too often, management fails to establish a strategic context for the competitive analysis it commissions. When this happens, the study is not likely to be particularly useful. Instead of helping to set the long-term strategy of the company, the study will probably just gather dust. However, done correctly, competitive analysis can play a crucial role in strategy formulation and implementation. It then becomes a powerful tool that draws a realistic competitive picture of the present, and uses that picture to understand the most likely make-up of the future. |
