| Tiivistelmä: | Violence directed at employers has a greater effect on HR professionals than does any other type of workplace violence. Because HR managers usually are the ones who have to tell employees that they are being fired, laid off, demoted, or disciplined, they often are the targets of rage. HR people are in a position to take a leadership role in helping their organizations develop some preventive and protective measures. Thy are usually in the forefront of efforts to help organizations recover after an act of violence occurs. |
