| Tiivistelmä: | Overall, since 1990, China's coal supply and demand have been balanced by and large and the coal market has been mainly the buyer's market with supply exceeding demand. From the analysis of production and consumption of coal in several big areas, we can see the following characteristics: The biggest coal producing areas are B-area (energy resources bases and Northwest area); The proportion of the output of coal-rich areas, that is, B-area and F-area (southwest area) to the country's total coal output has increased year by year. It is estimated that the overall supply and demand of coal in China in 1995 will keep to the pattern of equilibrium with over supply and the amount of allocating and transferring coal between regions will increase by a big margin. |
