| Tiivistelmä: | The uneven regional economic development in China originates in both the government's behaviour and the disparities in many aspects like economy , history, geographical position and natural conditions: 1. Policy factor. In the special economic zones and the coastal open cities, special policies tilting forwards these areas and opening up policies are pursued. 2. historical reasons and geographical factors. With mainland behind and the Pacific Ocean in front and a long coastal line as well, the coastal areas like Guangzhou and Fujian can develop foreign trade by taking advantage of their geographical position. |
