| Tiivistelmä: | Management between Assimilation and Heroism: Empirical and Theoretical Remarks. The article presents some preliminary results of an empirical research project dealing with the (business-) ethical orientations and value systems of Austrian managers. We stress the obviously strong moral burden managers have to carry. Consequently they face more problems to handle ethical principles in their professional life. The scope of individual reactions reaches from complete assimilation to surrounding systems to the integration of ethical / moral standards (and problems) in the professional performance. |
