| Tiivistelmä: | Since the 1990s, the overseas investment in China has increased by a big margin and its scale has become larger and larger. In 1995, for instance, the newly established foreign funded enterprises reached 37,011. Their contracted investment amounted to US$ 91.3 billion with US$ 37.5 billion actually used, reaching the highest level in history, up 12% over 1994. In the first half of this year, the approved foreign direct investment projects were 14,061, down 10.67% over the same period of last year with an actual used funds of US$ 19.768 billion, up 20.18% over the same period of last year. |
