Tiivistelmä:By studying the establishment process of nordic companies in the Baltic States the western companies make successful entries in East European transition economies. This study applies a model based on the network approach and the concept of matching and analyses the entry process of degree Norwigean case companies. The market entry in transition economies differ from entry into developing countries where more problems are faced in the beginning of the process, whereas appropriate matching activities undertaken at different levels facilitate the entry into transition economies.
