Tiivistelmä:This paper argues that profiling consumer decision-making styles are important to advertisers, marketers and consumer affairs specialists, but it is problematic to develop an approach to quantify these profiles. The paper reports the application of an instrument called consumer style inventory (CSI) to measure profiles for samples of consumers from USA , New Zealand, India and Greece. The results show that the instrument seems more applicable to high income countries than to developing countries.
