Tiivistelmä:The results of a study show that the cheap labour force and the level of inflow of foreign capital present a positive correlation. The higher China's import tariff is, the likely foreign direct investment (FDI) in China is promoted. With the devaluation of RMB against foreign currencies, foreign businessmen have found that FDI in China is more favourable to them than export to China. From a point of view of quantitative analysis, China's present productivity level has seriously impeded the introduction of foreign investment. The conclusion drawn in this paper is as follows: FDI is decided by the market scale and capital cost of a host country. Foreign investment is sensitive to China's exchange rate and the cost of labour force. The growth of import has also promoted the inflow of foreign capital. The actual GDP growth rate is an important factor.
