| Tiivistelmä: | In the review, Richard Pascale explores further the thinking first established in his book 'Managing on the Edge'. Pascale argues that the process of managing change is in itself an essential core competence that will distinguish winners from losers for at least two decades. It is also pointed out that employees are at their most motivated and productive when dealing with a challenge or conflict during times of intense change. Pascale concludes that one of the great management paradoxes of the 1990s is how to replicate states of productive chaos and yet maintain continuity. |
