| Tiivistelmä: | The situation of China's commodity market in 1998 depends, to a large degree, on the national macro-economic situation in 1998. The total volume of retail sales of consumer goods will amount to 3220 billion yuan in 1998. After deducting price factor, the real growth rate is about 10.5 percent. The total value of means of production may reach 4150 billion yuan, an increase by 8 percent. Generally speaking, there doesn't exist the problem of insufficient demand. However, it is obvious that the growth of effective demand tends to slow down. |
