| Tiivistelmä: | The paper examines the externalities of bank industries in the United States (U.S.). It is found that dividend reductions are negative events. Dividend reductions at regional banks have positive competitive effects on geographic rivals etc. Evidence of the paper suggests that regional banking markets are not contestable. |
