| Tiivistelmä: | In this paper, the authors report the results of a large series of experiments which have been designed as a test of the practical tractability and effectiveness of the incentive mechanism proposed by Falkinger (1996). They implement treatments with and without the mechanism. In their Control treatment there was no mechanism so that subjects faced strong free-riding incentives. In the so-called Mechanism treatment they implemented the Falkinger mechanism. |
