| Tiivistelmä: | This paper examines the subsequent career trajectories of executives who lost their jobs as a result of corporate downsizing. Utilizing a sample of over 500 executives who were downsized out of jobs but are now re-employed, the study investigates the nature of their underemployment, i.e., the extent to which they receive less pay, are forced to take lower-level positions, or are overqualified for their "replacement jobs". |
