| Tiivistelmä: | Financial development is associated with higher growth. However, the evidence on the channels through which credit affects growth at the microeconomic level is limited. This study tests whether access to credit has an impact on firm productivity. A data from a cross-section of Bulgarian firms is used to estimate the impact of access to credit on productivity. The result is that credit is positively and strongly associated with TFP. |
