Tiivistelmä:This article explores perspectives on how to lead creative people through a practitioner's examples. Interviewed is the French advertising guru Jacques Séguéla (here as: S.), who is Chief Communication Officer of Havas, the France's 2nd largest and the world’s 6th largest advertising and communication company with 800 designers worldwide. S. is famous for creating successful advertising and political campaigns, and authoring several best-sellers on advertising. Through a series of real-life anecdotes, S. talks about the importance of emotions, emotional intelligence, action, and intuition in leading creative people. Following the interview, some of S.'s key assertions are discussed as to existing leadership and management theories.
